Kayla is one of my BFF's and even though we don't see each other nearly enough, when we are back together, it is like no time has passed.  I was thrilled and truthfully a bit nervous when she told me Max wanted to get some pictures taken of the two of them to help remember their time together in this part of the world. In just a couple of days, they're moving to Germany together! Max is German so he's going home while Kayla is going to be working on her dissertation for her PhD in German history. They are totally adorable together and I couldn't be more excited for them.

Our session was a bit rocky (no pun intended) because it was super hot, and if we're being perfectly honest, it's really awkward to pose in lovey-dovey ways when your friends are standing there telling you what to do, fanning you, and taking photographs of your every move.  Still, we had fun, had a delicious farewell meal at Patti's afterward and I was really pleased with how a lot of the photos turned out.

To Kayla and Max: we are wishing you the best of luck in this new chapter in your lives. I know it will be a challenge to adjust to new surroundings, routines, etc. but I hope it will be a fun, exciting adventure that will bring you closer together and help you both to achieve fulfilment, happiness and success.  Viel Glück!
