Wesley loves trains.  He is really good at smiling for the camera.  His parents, Sean and Tiffany, are some of my favorite people.  In short, this shoot was the greatest.

Wouldn't it be nice to be a kid again?  I loved watching Wesley get so excited by a parked train car and David doing dinosaur noises.  Seriously, David was an amazing assistant at this shoot and I think I'll take him along every time I take photos of kids because apparently nothing is funnier than a giant teddy bear-type dude making super loud dinosaur noises.

I especially like the images where Wesley is running around - I think it's good to capture some more true-to-life images and anyone with a toddler can tell you that perfectly still, smiling at the camera and posing are not at all representative of everyday life.

This fun train can be found right outside the Playhouse in the Park where someday I image Wesley, Hazel, and the rest of their crew will be the stars of some adorable children's productions.
