I can't tell you how happy it makes my heart to be the go-to photographer for a family.  It means so much that Maggie trusted me to take Emerson's newborn photos when I had never attempted those before and then kept coming back for more photos at different stages of her life.  I think these moments are so precious and babies change so much in that first year! 

I also LOVE when clients trust me to pick new and interesting locations for them so their pictures don't look exactly like everyone else's.  We did this Murray, KY family session at Beans to Blossoms (out 94 - super nice people and a great selection!)  The colorful flowers, succulents, and beautiful light in the greenhouse and in the shop made for some of my most favorite photos I've ever taken!

Maggie brought her momma to the session since her hubby had to work.  Grandparents are the BEST!

How cool are these succulents?  I love these plants because they remind me of California and they're very easy to take care of.
