lake wedding with vintage vibes

Melanie + Fate

I love when couples incorporate sentimental, handmade, or vintage items into their wedding days and Melanie and Fate’s Kenlake wedding was full of all three. Melanie carried a lucky 1945 quarter down the aisle that several women in her family had worn in their shoe on their own wedding days, the cake cutter was borrowed from the bride’s parents and had also been used at her sister’s wedding, and even the bride and groom’s wedding attire was vintage. All those details made the day even more special.

These two adorable, amazing humans planned a perfect day for their close family and friends. Even though storms were predicted, luckily it held off for us to spend some time outdoors in the beautiful state park. Their vows had everyone crying, and their wedding madlibs and games at each of the tables got us all laughing.

Thank you for letting us capture your celebration, Melanie and Fate!
