Anna + Lucas | Grand Lodge on 5th Paducah Wedding Photography

I LOVED being part of Lucas and Anna’s perfectly Paducah wedding on Saturday. They live in Chicago but Anna grew up in the Paducah area. I met Anna for the first time around Valentine’s Day when she was in town for a wedding planning weekend. Since she and Lucas weren’t due to be in town together before the wedding and they opted to have another photographer shoot their engagement pictures in Chicago, we swapped their engagement session for a bridal boudoir session which was so. much. fun. She gifted Lucas a book of the images and his expression was priceless. A little risque so I didn’t include those images here but be prepared for lots more cute stuff from their wedding day.

I loved how family- and friend-oriented their wedding was. The bride and bridesmaids got ready at the bride’s parents’ house and the groom and groomsmen came there for a pre-wedding lunch. Anna and Lucas saw each other for the first time under a beautiful tree in the front yard while everyone tried to peek from inside the house. The trolley picked us up and transported us downtown where we crashed the Oktoberfest celebration. We eventually headed to the Grand Lodge on 5th for the most beautiful ceremony and reception. Wait until you see the CAKE - truly a work of art, and Anna’s favorite part of the wedding planning experience.
